Hi, we are Mónica and Sam.
We are are in the business of love and art, living in Brooklyn with three black cats.
Sam is a musician, MC, DJ, and writer originally from Buffalo, NY, residing in NYC since 2000.
When we met, we connected over bell hooks’ “All About Love” and hope to extend this ethic to our clients. Our artistic aesthetics inform our approach to portraiture, ceremony and music in celebration. We’re here for those who seek a richer texture to their special moment in time, marking the journey to it through ritual and documentation with fun and artistry.
Our experience as professionals in the wedding industry (and that little thing called love) brought us here. This collaboration as Wedotoo is a merger of passion and profession. Do you believe in revolutionary love? Wedotoo.

Mónica was an incredible photographer for our wedding at City Hall. Her warm personality put us instantly at ease (even though we can both be a bit camera shy!). She guided us through the process with expertise, suggesting poses that always felt natural and anticipating how to use the city environment to create absolutely stunning photographs.
We have enjoyed reliving the excitement of our wedding over and over again.

We had the absolute pleasure of having Sam officiate and DJ our wedding celebration. When working with Sam, we immediately felt a sense of calm, understanding, and organizational-help wash over us when going through all details of our ceremony and music at the reception. Sam was a complete rock leading into the day and was absolutely central in providing us the greatest day ever.
We would 100% recommend Monica and Sam for any couple looking for a fun, relaxed and enjoyable wedding day. The prep from the start was great and we had some video calls to get the ball rolling. Mónica and Sam managed to reserve a place in the park for us and get the permit which was a big help on the day and one less thing to worry about. The wedding day itself was perfect. Mónica’s photos were second to none and Sam’s ceremony was exactly what we wanted (he will also hold any handbags that you need!)
